Problem
Not enough people posting acts of peace to website in order to reach goal.
My Role
Project Co-lead. I also worked on various end to end aspects of the redesign, including, UX research, user testing, and Onboarding team member- sketching, lofi and midfi wire-framing.
Design Summary: Develop a responsive experience for Billion Acts website to increase acts, while working together with campaign manager and engineers.

Leadership - worked in two week design sprints; managed delegation of tasks and coordination with client; assigned sub-teams for each section of the proposed scope (Landing page, Onboarding, and Act submission)
Research & Synthesis
I conducted tests with new users and interviewed ---> Pain points:
- Value Proposition unclear for both Individual participants and Network partners on landing page
- Instructions to understand how to act submit confusing for both users
- Onboarding flow confusing for network partner vs. individual
- Act submission too long
Competitive Analysis- assigned teams to research another organization doing similar work --> draw from positive sections of competitors
Empathize - developed user stories for individuals and network partners to get a deeper understanding of how and why the user would use the product.
Ideation
- User Flows - this was a challenge as the site was built to be used for individuals, so adding a flow for network partners was not a direct path.
- Card sorting - get a deeper understanding of what the site architecture should be, especially what the menu bar should contain
- Sketch wireframes
Onboarding Team
- Create a clear flow for both individual and network partner
- Guide user - provide direction and transparency with popup modals, hints, steppers, and emails
- Show value prop & instructions to network partners in order to onboard
- Shorten both individual and network partner form.

Another team will be working to improve and organize the profile and collection pages.
